Who installs prefab saunas in Los Angeles?

Argonicer is a licensed specialty contractor (CSLB D-34 #1151916) focused specifically on prefab sauna installation across the Los Angeles area. We assemble and hook up factory-made saunas — barrel, cube, infrared, and hybrid models — as our core business, not as a side job. Owner-operated: every install is done under the owner's personal oversight.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold a California CSLB D-34 (Prefabricated Equipment) specialty contractor license #1151916, and we're fully insured and bonded. D-34 is the license class that covers exactly this work: assembly and installation of prefabricated equipment.

How much does sauna installation cost?

It depends on two things: the size and complexity of the unit itself, and the equipment being connected to your prepared electrical line — heater, controls, lighting. That's why we ask for your sauna model and interior equipment first, and then quote a flat price for the install. No hourly surprises on standard prefab installations.

How long does the installation take?

Most prefab saunas are assembled and running in 1–3 days, cleanly and with zero landscape damage.

Do I need a permit to install a sauna in Los Angeles?

Often the sauna structure itself doesn't require a building permit (many prefab units fall under the small accessory structure threshold), but the dedicated electrical line for the heater typically does. It depends on your city and where the sauna sits on your property. Tell us your address and model and we'll walk you through what applies — we deal with this every week.

What do I need to prepare before installation day?

Two things matter most: a level base (concrete pad, pavers, or a deck rated for the weight) and a dedicated 240V electrical line installed by your electrician. We hook the sauna's heater, sensors, and controls up to that prepared line and make sure everything works as one system before we leave.

Which sauna brands do you install?

We're multibrand. Redwood Outdoors, SaunaLife, Thermory, Dundalk, Almost Heaven, and most other factory kits sold in the US — if it arrives in crates with a manual, we've likely built one. If you're still choosing a model, ask us before you buy: we'll tell you honestly how it installs.

I started assembling my sauna myself and got stuck. Can you finish it?

Yes, this happens more often than you'd think. Finishing or correcting a self-started assembly is billed hourly (unlike standard installs, which are flat-rate), because we first need to see what's already been done.

Why not just have a handyman assemble it?

A sauna is beautiful carpentry wrapped around serious electrical equipment: a 240V heater, temperature sensors that must sit exactly where the manual says, controls and safety automation. Skip either half and you don't get "almost a sauna" — you get a very handsome shed. We assemble both halves so they work as one.
